WHAT IS COACHING?

Coaching is a partnership and collaboration between the coach and client with the ultimate goal of creating a successful and sustainable outcome that is unique to each client. The coach uses highly developed listening skills, exercises, assessments and thought-provoking, empowering questions to help you find the answers within. Through coaching, you will see opportunities, rather than problems or challenges, and you will develop tools to get around obstacles, so you can stay focused on options. The coach will help you develop goals and identify reasonable and measurable plans of action, and as a collaborator supports you and holds you accountable to accomplishing them. Coaching is a thought-provoking, creative process that empowers and inspires the client to maximize their potential in life.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A CONSULTANT, MENTOR, THERAPIST, AND COACH?

 

A Consultant is an expert who assesses your situation and provides detailed suggestions and recommendations on what actions you should take to fix a situation. Depending on the consultant, they may make referrals and connections for you, but they may not actually stay involved through to completion.

 

A Mentor will share what they have done in the past and what worked and did not work for them. Often they create programs and courses that detail specific steps and actions that must be followed exactly the way they did it to achieve success. Sometimes they offer this advice pro bono as a way to give back. 

 

A Therapist digs into the client’s past in order to help them recover from emotional or psychological traumas that are preventing them from success in the present.

 

The Core Energy Coaching process draws from the most effective core competencies and applied theory from positive psychology, Neuro-Linguistic Programing (NLP), Emotional Intelligence, leadership development, Quantum Physics, and more to helps clients experience positive transformation and sustainable changes. IPEC trained coaches develop advanced coaching skills that help their clients gets to the core of their belief systems, challenges their paradigms, shifts their energy, and expands their perspective to see infinite new possibilities as they move forward with clear next steps and accountability. 

 

A Core Energy Coach has completed a 9-month training program in coaching skills and personal and leadership development through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC), one of the top global training organizations for coaches. Upon completion of the program, 100 hours of practical coaching experience, and passing a written and oral exam, they become a certified professional coach (CPC) and eligible to apply for credentials from the International Coaching Federation.

HOW DO COACHES DELIVER THIER SERVICES?

 

Each coach chooses to work in a format that suits them the best while serving their clients needs. The most common ways that coaches offer their services are as follows:

 

One-on-One - face to face, via phone or Skype. This is the most powerful form of coaching as the specific goals of the client are the focus. Sessions usually run from 45 minutes to an hour and can be scheduled on a case by case basis, weekly, bi-weekly or once a month.

 

 

Group Coaching - a Face-to-Face group of 2 or more people. A powerful, interactive method for sharing and growing with like-minded individuals. Specific personal issues, strategies, and goals are often addressed.

Workshops and Seminars - A stimulating and empowering in-person experience that focuses on learning and skills development and offers the benefit of connecting with and being inspired by like-minded individuals. Interactivity and personalization vary greatly and depend on the workshop or seminar size and intention. Usually designed to serve 10 to 1000's of people at one time.

 

Teleseminar and Webinar - Most accessible method for personal development and skills training with limited personalization. Created to serve as many people as possible at a reasonable cost and minimal time commitment.

 

Retreats - An in-person, intimate, deep-dive experience, away from your regular life and activities.
